I think I had a bit too much fun creating a gothic cross for this page...
I wanted something that looked like it had been around since the rise of the Roman Catholic Church. I also knew I wanted it to be ornate.
A bit of Trivia... in this future, Gold is a commodity that is so sought after, the current government has forbidden private citizens to posses, buy, or sell gold in any form. So Cabal and Miranda will have to do some fancy footwork (and some mental manipulation to boot) to be sure that little priceless item makes it back to House Cabal.

That means I'll be going on a chapter break following the next page. This chapter break may be a bit longer than the current one as I need to figure out just what I'm going to include and pare out for the epilogue.
