Looks like Garrett imbibed a bit too much, doesn't it? :P And in the process of passing out missed an important event. LOL Technically Garrett is still on the clock with Victor Sierra - but he's never really been one to stick strictly to the rules.
This page for some reason seemed really tedious to me. It's not more technically difficult than the preveious couple, so I'm not sure why I got it in my head that this one was so hard. *Shrugs*

TOHS: Redemption Fan Art Contest
Still a few more weeks to submit your entry for the TOHS Fan Art Contest! Today I am going to give you guys a bit of the story script to see if it inspires any scenes (For those still deciding what to do)
This scene is from the first chapter of the book and does a pretty good job of introducing Andy and his almost instantaneous fascination with Cabal.
Heat shimmer distorted the form coming in from the decidedly wrong direction of the desert. If his approach was an accurate indicator, he had come out of deep desert, a badlands so extreme no one traveled it on foot.
Only a part of the boy's attention picked up on Mr. Craig calling for the streets to be cleared. Andy was fixated on the figure growing larger and clearer, as if sprouting from the heated sand itself.
"Andy!" The fearful exclamation penetrated the boy’s fascinated observation.
Startling, the twelve year old peered up into the guard’s face.
"Time to go home. Be quick!"
Andy nodded, finally noting the area, previously teeming with other kids, was deserted. It hastened his retreat from the gate, but he only managed to get about a dozen yards down the street to his house before he heard Mr. Craig address the stranger. His run stuttered to a stop, curiosity overwhelming his better judgment about outsiders.
"What is your business here?" Mr. Craig's fear and distrust strung his voice higher still.
Andy found himself gravitating back towards the booth without ever meaning to put himself in harm’s way. Ducking low, he could still see through at an angle to get a look at Redemption’s visitor.
"My name is Cabal," the man said. It was a deep, clear voice – one that would carry easily, even in a whisper, and made Mr. Craig's sound almost feminine. "I received some intelligence that you’ve had a... tragedy here, possibly involving vampires."
In the incredulous pause that followed, the man shrugged into the straps of a backpack, before pulling a small hose off the clip at chest level and popping it in his mouth. He sucked on it for mere moments before spitting it out, capping it and putting it back on the clip. A water pack. It would have to be fairly large to come through the area he just traveled.
The guard tried to scoff. "No such thing."
"I beg to differ. I've killed too many to discount their existence."
"You’ve killed..." Mr. Craig trailed off; his surprise was enough to crack the lie he'd tried to tell previously.
"I'm a vampire hunter."
Andy's jaw dropped. A real live vampire hunter?
"Yeah, right. And I'm a skimmer."
(BTW there is even another passage on my latest DA Journal. This one has to do with the grand falling out between Lucinda and Cabal after she finds out what he's REALLY like. Heh...)
Remember September 1st is the deadline for entries! For more information and the rules of the contest visit my DA Journal.
