It's pages like this that I really love creating. Miranda may be the subdued partner, but she has a strength of will that I positively love. Cabal actually isn't that strong mentally, believe it or not. His threshold for mental woundings is relatively low (having suffered so many mental traumas), so it's awesome that Miranda can close the gap when he gets like this (before 30 years ago, it's a wonder he didn't self destruct).
